Carol von Kaenel is a Reiki Master who lives and teaches in Saratoga Springs, NY. She provides Reiki treatments and teaches classes for Reiki I and Reiki II. She also trains master candidates. Carol is a member of the Reiki Alliance and was a board member of the Northeast Reiki Gathering.
Carol learned Reiki in 1992 and fell in love with it. She had been saying for years that she didn't know what I wanted to be when she grew up. She would say this as a joke AND it was true. What Carol finally discovered was that she wanted to teach people how to do this wonderful thing for themselves, to give them access to energy in a powerful and delightfully useful way, to accept responsibility for their own healing - and then to offer it to others, if they chose. HawayoTakata wished that Reiki would become as common as aspirin. We're not there yet, but we're on the way!
