This episode is inspired by the recent change in one of our first spiritual teachers and New Age author, Doreen Virtue. After having an encounter with Jesus in a meditation, Doreen came to believe that the angels her “spiritual gifts” where actually deceptions from demons. Since this experience, and after decades teaching “New Age” philosophies, Doreen has renounced these teachings to become a born-again Christian. Her professional efforts are now spent as an author and teacher of Christianity. In this episode, April is joined by “Magic and Miracles” host Mary Pikul, and they begin to dig deep into this sentiment made popular by a growing number ex-new agers speaking out on their experiences and it’s implications in healing work and spiritual tools that so many have come to experience as positive avenues to well-being.
